Someone who has been long absent from the WWE circle is Luke Harper. Better known as part of the famed Wyatt Family, Harper has been kept out of action due to a torn ACL that he suffered back in March.
Harper did undergo surgery for the injury and has been rehabbing the past months. PWinsider reports that Harper was recently spotted at the WWE performance center and could be returning to action once he is medically cleared.
Another Free Agent
Worth noting is that should Harper return, there is no telling where he will end up. He was among the undrafted WWE stars following the brand split.
Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan went to SmackDown while Braun Strowman is with Raw. Wyatt has been booked for WWE Backlash this Sunday against Randy Orton while Erick Rowan has so far been a no-show on SmackDown episodes.
Strowman has been showcasing his strength, taking on unknowns and lightweights each week. So the question now is that in the event that Harper does return, where does he best fit?
Wyatt Family Revival at SmackDown
If he ends up joining SmackDown, the Wyatt family may be reunited once more. Strowman may be out of the picture but as most now, the trio were the original ones who made up the clan before.
With Wyatt’s upcoming match, there is a chance that the Wyatts may rise again. Outside interference from Harper and/or Rowan could happen, all depending on what the creative team deems fit.
Joining Raw
On Raw, Harper could either join forces with Strowman or go up against the big brute. At some point, Strowman will get a worthy opponent. Harper carries the right built to match up against his former ally which could account for a good storyline if the WWE warrants it.
If not, the two could form a tag team to go up against “The Club” (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows”) or maybe set their eyes on the WWE tag team titles currently held by the “New Day”. There are a lot of possibilities but the immediate concern is being allowed back into the WWE ring.
