One of "The Sims 4" owner has recently discovered a file which is expected to add more characters in the expanding Sims universe. Images of the said files have surfaced over the Spanish Sims blog.
Reports claimed that the modder uncovered a file that could mean an impending addition of toddlers in "The Sims 4." The game assets reportedly offered a peek at the detailed and three leveled design of a toddler. Additionally, a Sims4studio member examined the character's texture thoroughly and was surprised to find out that the structure appears almost finished, reports GamenGuide.
However, after the news surfaced the internet, EA Games quickly debunked the rumor to stop it from spreading even more. What the modder discovered is not an evidence of EA's plans to add toddlers in "The Sims 4" according to the publisher's post in The Sims Community. Instead, the images were just part of old assets from a former EA project.
Furthermore, The Sims team created a family portrait for CEO Andrew Wilson in Oct. last year in celebration of the addition of a newborn baby in their family. The said project was then confirmed by producer Lyndsay Pearson on her Twitter account that time. With that said, the rumored addition of toddlers to "The Sims 4" is not happening anytime soon, according to Movie News Guide.
However, even if "The Sims 4" will not feature the said toddlers, the images revealed still offered a glimpse of how toddlers may look if in any case they will be integrated in the game. Anything may be possible so fans can only hope that EA would finally decided to add them in "The Sims" universe in the near future.
"The Sims 4," however, is set to see the highly anticipated "City Life" DLC which has been leaked online. The said leak listed a number of additions to the game like apartments, basketball, city cultural festivals and politics career.
