IFA 2016 Latest News & Update: Lenovo A Plus Price, Specs & Release Date

The recent IFA 2016 held in Berlin showcased the arrival of Lenovo A Plus, an entry level, budget mobile phone from the Lenovo brand. Reports reveal that the new Lenovo A Plus phone only cost 69 euros, and is primarily available in the European market only.

Along with the Lenovo A Plus model is the introduction of several other models like K6, K6-Power and K6 Note. Also, the P2 series made an appearance on the said event. The A Plus model however, is making a statement and its known specifications include a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display, 1GB of RAM and is powered by a MediaTek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It also has an expandable 8GB of on-board storage and it sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. The secondary camera on the other hand houses a 2-megapixel capacity.

The Lenovo A Plus is dual-SIM supported and packs in 2000mAh battery. Interestingly, this latest entry from the Lenovo brand has 4G with VoLTE support. With the Lenovo P2 expected to launch in the market by November, the A Plus model is expected to arrive within the month in the European market.

Meanwhile, Lenovo also made a statement when it introduced its Yoga Tabs at the recent IFA 2016. Their latest Yoga Book called the Yoga Tab 3 Plus features a mix of metal and hard plastic built. Despite carrying the burden of being heavy at 644grams, you can't fault the device for that has a 10-inch Quad HD display, accompanied by a clear JBL-branded speakers.

The Yoga Tab 3 also features a Snapdragon 652 processor, 32GB of built-in storage, 3GB of RAM and a 9,300 mAh battery. According to Lenovo, the tablet has a 2K display with a maximum of 18-hour battery life.
