Back when the "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" was launched, it gave us another taste of what it is to be in a "Call of Duty" game. The game came up with some huge cinematic storyline with awesome plot twists and best missions in the history of gaming. The game can also be played through Co-op with a buddy.
Because of the "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" success, it is not a surprise that Infinity Ward will be releasing a Remaster for the game that will be playable through Xbox One, PS4 and PC. But, according to Digital Spy, the "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" Remastered will only be available to players that purchased "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Legacy Edition.
The "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" Remastered is expected to be launched this year. It is also reported that players can't purchase the game alone, so if the players want to play the Remastered Edition they have to get the Infinite Warfare too. This can be a problem to some of the players, because switching from one game to another might be difficult for others to get used to.
According to a report from GameRant, during the Call of Duty XP event in Los Angeles, the Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg made an announcement. The CEO said that even if all 16 of the Call of Duty 4 maps are having a comeback, not all of the maps will be available at launch. The 10 maps that were originally confirmed for the "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" Remastered will be available on November 4th, and the other six maps will be released in December as Downloadable Content.
Fans of the "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" will not have to guess the maps that will be available this coming November 4. When the Remastered version was previewed, the gameplay is an identical experience to the original that was release 2007. The game only has few differences like the improved graphics and some menus that are redesigned. Therefore, it's safe to say that the players that liked the "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" will also like its Remastered version.
