Niantic hasn't yet officially confirmed the "Pokemon GO" Buddy system. However, this system will be very beneficial for those who walk a lot as they won't need to depend on Pokemon farming at PokeStops to become a better trainer.
According to The Bitbag, it has been an excruciating wait for "Pokemon GO" fans as they desperately want Legendary Pokemon to be implemented in the game. In regular Pokemon games, players are limited to encountering only one Legendary Pokemon per play-through. This only makes them a rare find.
When it comes to mobile, certain regular Pokemo are difficult to find in the wild. Players may even be accused of cheating if they repeatedly catch and level up Legendary Pokemon. These critters are especially difficult to come by. The "Pokemon GO" Buddy System will provide a legitimate source of acquiring Legendary Pokemon Candy once the system is implemented.
Thankfully, "Pokemon GO" fans have already found hints of the Buddy System in the latest Niantic update. The feature allows players to register a Pokemon as a "Buddy" and as long as players keep walking, they will be granted Buddy Candies.
The "Pokemon GO" Buddy Candies would allow players to invest upgrades on Pokemon they rarely meet in the wild. Thus, the system is especially useful for rare Pokemon. The Buddy Pokemon can also evolve and these Pokemon may also provide important tips to trainers during gameplay.
"Pokemon Go" players expect that Buddy Pokemon will help them acquire the evolution down packs before they fight against other trainers. However, up until now, it remains to be seen as to when Niantic will officially release this new feature.
Certain reports have claimed that Legendary Pokemon Mew and MewTwo are already in the game. They believe certain "Pokemon GO" players have found out sources that confirm these Legendary Pokemon are set to conquer the game.
