As some of the iPhone enthusiasts are not happy with the iPhone 7 specs rumors, they have now shifted their attention towards the Apple iPhone 8 that will reportedly sport some revolutionary features such as a curved-edged display screen and an all-glass chassis.
2017 will be a special year for Apple as it will be the 10th anniversary of the original iPhone. Naturally, Apple CEO Tim Cook would be planning something really big. As the company generally reveals its iPhones early September, the Apple iPhone 8 may start reaching journalists by the end of August 2017.
As per the Nikkei Asian Review, the iPhone 8 may flaunt an all-glass design. A Touch-ID sensor will also be integrated into the design that will drop the physical Home Button, reports Huffington Post. Curved screen and round edges will make the Apple iPhone 8 "THE" smartphone to watch out for in 2017.
The review also claimed that Apple would be releasing three new iPhones in 2017 that would include the premium large-screen version. There have been reports that the iPhone 8 will finally make the switch over OLED technology. This would technically mean lower power consumption and increased contrast ratios.
"There will be a 4.7-inch model, another that will be 5.5-inches and a premium handset that will be either 5.5-inches or larger equipped with a screen bent on the two sides," the Nikkei Asian Review stated. However, several reports have claimed that Apple will include the OLED technology in this year's iPhone 7 Pro. Apple iPhone 8 is expected to include motion charging technology and Lithium-O2 batteries for longer battery life.
Apple's iPhone 7 event is reportedly happening on Sept. 7 and rumors suggest that the company will announce the release of Macbook Pro 2016 and Apple Watch 2 during that event. iPhone 7 may be completely water-resistant. If this true, then the water-resistant high-end phone will allow its users to take images under water. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more iPhone 8 news and updates!
