EA Unveils Bonus Edition of FIFA 13

Electronic Arts Inc. announced today that EA SPORTS is offering an exclusive FIFA 13 Bonus Edition that will supply fans who purchase FIFA 13 with 2200 FIFA Points, which redeemable instantly for FIFA Ultimate Team item packs, including up to 22 gold packs to kick-start the holiday season.

As one of the most popular modes in the game, bringing together a massive online community, these gold packs will be highly sought after for FIFA's Ultimate Team mode. Each gold pack is a mix of 12 items, including players, contracts, stadiums, managers, staff, fitness, healing, balls, kits, and badges. Gold Packs consist of players rated 75+ in-game, and include one rare item, such as enhanced player attributes, longer contracts, or the most coveted players.

To date, FIFA 13 has managed to sell over 7.4 million units in its first four weeks since its Sept. 25 launch, and fans are playing FIFA 13 in record numbers, with an average of 11.3 million games being played daily.

Alongside Battlefield, FIFA 13 accounts for one of the "biggest revenue events in our company's history. Both are well on their way to becoming billion dollar annual franchises," said EA president Frank Gibeau.

The FIFA 13 Bonus Edition will be available for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 Nov. 30.
