"We're very excited about it. I think it's the best one we've done, it's very big chewy stuff, meaty," Mark Gatiss told BBC Breakfast, per Mirror Online. "Lots of big life changing things happen in it and all kinds of non-specific things like that I can say about it." The 49-year-old actor also added that the filming of "Sherlock" Season 4 already concluded and will be revealed in the coming year, when its usual airing begins.
Moriarty is definitely back in "Sherlock" Season 4, but Mark Gatiss hinted that it isn't clear how serene it could be. Also, fans are about to see the appearance of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional villains from its "Sherlock Holmes" detective stories. Evidently, the newly released "Sherlock" Season 4 trailer teased not only the return of the drama series, but also its new adventures.

Meanwhile, International Business Times reported that Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) might pass his profession as a detective to John Watson (Martin Freeman) in "Sherlock" Season 4. There are also swirling rumors that the TV series won't have a happy ending, particularly for Mary Watson (Amanda Abbington), John's wife.
Fans might see the end of Mary in "Sherlock" Season 4. Amanda Abbington's character might be gone in an emotional or dreadful way.
