Ahead of the "Civilization 6" release date this October, fans of the long running strategy franchise are offered the chance to get the game earlier by purchasing a bundle that contains the latest game. Firaxis and 2K Games offer the "Civilization 6" 25th Anniversary Edition to fans of the long running franchise as a way of celebrating the game's twenty five years.
The 25th Anniversary Edition lets gamers play the newest installation way ahead of the "Civilization 6" release date this coming October. Aside from the Civ 6 game, the bundle also contains four DLC pack as well as as a digital soundtrack, reports IGN.
In addition, the "Civilization 6" 25th Anniversary Edition also contains a 10o-page hardcover book titled "Civilization Through the Years" and a commemorative coin set and display set. The anniversary edition also comes with the Aztec Civilization pre-order bonus which includes the ruler Montezuma, Eagle Warrior, Tlatchli and Huey Teocali, which only become free to the rest of the players 60 days after the "Civilization 6" release date this October 21.
Unfortunately, Firaxis and 2K Games' offer of the "Civilization 6" 25th Anniversary Edition is only limited. Priced at $90 each, the developers announced that available copies for the 25th Anniversary Edition is only limited at 20,000 worldwide.
At them moment though, it appears that it is already too late to avail of the "Civilization 6" 25th Anniversary Edition. Mobile & Apps reports that the title is already sold out on both Amazon and 2K store merely hour after its release.
As for the rest of the would be emperors out there, the game will be available less than two months from now. The "Civilization 6" release date is scheduled this coming October 21, 2016 although the pricing of the title is yet to be revealed.
