With the new trailers launched online, fans can't help but get thrilled for the "Rick & Morty" Season 3. Last week, one of the writers hinted something big for the TV series. But, as far as the writers are concerned, the release of "Rick & Morty" Season 3 is still not confirmed.
Writer Mike McMahan teased viewers and fans of "Rick & Morty" about the launch date of the show. The writer stated that greatness takes time and fans should keep calm because "Rick & Morty" Season 3 is going to be the best installment for the popular TV series.
What To Expect For the Upcoming 'Rick & Morty' Season 3
For starters, "Rick & Morty" Season 3 is going to be longer than the previous installments as it will feature a total of14 episodes. Compared to the previous two seasons that only had a total of 10 episodes, "Rick & Morty" Season 3 will have a lot of serial storytelling for its fans.
Another thing to expect is that there will be a break out fight in the start of "Rick & Morty" Season 3. If fans remembered, Season 2 has ended with Rick going in a Galactic Federation Prison. However, with the trailers posted online, it seems like Rick will escape from prison or someone will bust in to rescue him.
In the length of "Rick & Morty," the past seasons presented an Interdimensional Cable plot that features an entire episode of semi-improvised television skits from around the galaxy as "Rick & Morty" sits down from the couch to watch it. Well, fans did not like this kind of episode as it lacks sci-fi and high-concept plotting. So, basically, "Rick & Morty" Season 3 is highly-likely to drop this style of storytelling.
According to iDigitalTimes, co-creator Justin Roiland pointed out that the writers are not considering making another Interdimensional Cable episode for "Rick & Morty" Season 3 during the San Diego ComicCon 2016. Well, nothing is confirmed up to this writing.
"Rick & Morty Season 3 Release Date
"Rick & Morty" Season 3 will continue the show's trend of shocking anti-Americanism and it's unique kind of humor. There is no clear news of the show's release date, but speculations state that the TV series will launch later this year on Adult Swim.
