Assassin's Creed 3 For PC Will Have Less Bugs Than Console, Extra DX11 Support

The PC version of Assassin's Creed 3 is scheduled for a Nov. 20 release. The game had released previously for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Oct. 30.

In what might excite PC gamers who have been awaiting the PC version of Assassin's Creed 3, Ubisoft has said that it will be adding additional features which are not available on the console version of the game, Examiner said.

The information was announced in an AMA thread conducted by Ubisoft, Nov. 13 on Reddit regarding Assassin's Creed 3. It revealed that the PC version will have lesser bugs than the console version and will carry features like DX11 support, higher texture resolution, tessellation and more.

"So, when PC launches, it will include ALL of the console patches out at the time (so, that includes any patches we might be releasing in between now and PC launch). In addition, PC has a special patch designed to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible," said Ubisoft on Reddit.

"We've added extra DX11 support for the PC version, so you'll notice some significant increases in texture resolution (double-res in most cases, but quadruple in some), TESSELLATION (which is like, the new DX11 hotness) and some other shader improvements that will have an impact, but aren't all that sexy to enumerate in a Reddit post, hehe."

"If you're going PC, I would opt for the Digital Deluxe version if it is available, because it comes strapped with tons of extra in-game content."

Ubisoft revealed its first upcoming DLC for the game titled "The Tyranny of King Washington" Oct. 3, where the players are tasked with overthrowing the dictator. It will be a single-player content with three parts. The story of the game will be non-canon.
