Now that you know all of the pricing details, what games should you buy for your brand new high-definition Nintendo console? Here is our list of five games you should pick up on day one:

5. Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge: The Ninja Gaiden series is exactly the type of mature hardcore game that Nintendo's previous system lacked in bulk. Razor's Edge is an enhanced version of Ninja Gaiden 3 and includes all downloadable content from the original title as well as additional enhancements. According to IGN's review "It's far from perfect and best viewed with "launch goggles" on, but Razor's Edge's unflinching action and unabashed violence is a great sign for the Wii U as a core gamer's platform." They scored the game a 7.6-out-of-10. The game original scored a 3 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

4. Mass Effect 3 Special Edition: This will be the first time that Nintendo gamers get a chance to step into the space boots of Commander Shepard and Bioware's wonderfully crafted universe. The Wii U version will include an updated version of the Genesis comic from Darkhorse that will keep Nintendo gamers informed about what happened in the previous games. Plus Mass Effect 3 Special Edition utilizes the GamePad, allowing gamers to play the game away from the television set.

3. Assassin's Creed III: This is another blockbuster game that is making its Nintendo debut. The game tells the story of the American Colonies fight for freedom through the eyes of a Native American assassin, who fights to protect his land and his people. The game is one of the most graphically beautiful games of 2012 and is a can't miss for Nintendo gamers, who are new to the franchise.

2. Zombie U: An exclusive first-person shooter horror game title for the Wii U, Zombie U will let gamers attempt to survive a zombie apocalypse that is destroying the streets of London. The game uses the GamePad to control many aspects of the game like aiming weapons and unlocking doors. The game is proof that Wii U isn't just a system for casual gamers.

1. Super Mario Bros. U: What is the point of owning a Wii U if you do not own a Mario Bros. video game? The game has shiny HD graphics and features everyone's favorite plumber. It is also the first Mario platformer since a little title called Super Mario 64. The game feature a five player game mode called 'Boost Mode' that lets the fifth player pick up the Wii U GamePad and distracting enemies via the Touch Screen.
