The "Watch Dogs 2" Gamescom 2016 trailer was not only breathtaking but it kind of made it obvious that the game will be way better than the original as it looked way more evolved than its predecessor. It looked more fun too.
While the official launch date of Ubisoft's new title is just months away, the open-world hacking game is gearing up for a blitzkrieg. Especially after the first "Watch Dogs" was panned by players despite garnering high scores from critics.
Ubisoft will be introducing the new lead character Marcus Holloway in "Watch Dogs 2" and he looks way cooler than the first game's protagonist Aiden Pearce, reports Mobile & Apps. However, the move to remove Aiden was pretty unexpected as most thought the game would continue with a seasoned hacker and his revenge story.
"Watch Dogs 2" is set in San Francisco and consists of members of the Dedsec group. Fans have already started comparing the two leads, former Aiden and all new Marcus.
Nashville Chatter reports that hacking in "Watch Dogs 2" is all set to get real fun as gamers won't be restricted to simple missions any longer. This time they will be able to hack into laptops, cars and even remote vehicles to take their enemies down.
A special mention must be made of the Multiplayer Mode that allows players to simply walk on the streets and pick and choose a partner so that both can engage is their action-packed heists. This kind of realism and immersive gameplay was not observed in "Watch Dogs."
"Watch Dogs 2" is not only about killing and warfare. There are light moments too. Players can join a friend to cruise around the city, similar GTA V although it has a life of his own. One can even generate chaos on the streets and hack into almost anything.
Players can also jump on cruise boats to explore. But beware, players not in a player's crew will constantly try and hack into his/her devices and even kill him/her. "Watch Dogs 2" is totally based on individual survival skills.
