‘Mortal Kombat X’ Latest News & Update: Open Beta Now Available for Download

The latest news on the "Mortal Kombat X" game came in two surprising revelations after series creator Ed Boon made some shady hints online. Most gamers know that the "Mortal Kombat X" launch on PC didn't quite live up to the many players expectation; this prompted the developer to ditch any future launching; not even a DLC completion for the game.

However, in the latest news that emerged online, Ed Boon may have subtly announced the coming of "Mortal Kombat X" on PC. Despite not being straightforward about it, his twitter post that said "Maybe we should Karry eXtra Long People who Care?" says otherwise. In July, Boon also launched a twitter poll asking players on what they want in the future, a "Mortal Kombat X on PC" or its GGPO support.

The result pointed to a "Mortal Kombat X on PC" which, Ed Boon acknowledged at the time. The "Mortal Kombat X" was first launched on PC, alongside the PS4 and Xbox One platform on May 2015. The PC version however received the first DLC pack called "Kombat Pack 1." The second DLC unfortunately never came

The "Mortal Kombat X" on PC encountered several glitches, the biggest by which players encounter crashes. NetherRealm addressed the issue by installing a new system that will enable fans to play the game even without downloading all the files needed to play the game.

The move to renew the installation system drove players away from the game; but that's nothing compared to a released patch that unfortunately deletes saved games. The "Mortal Kombat X PC" version may not arrive soon, but Boon mentioning the version is a good sign.
