Two WWE stars who previously collided at WWE Fastlane 2015 have gone separate paths but it looks like there is more to the story.
On one end, everyone knows how Daniel Bryan was forced into retirement due to health issues. He is now serving as the general manager of SmackDown for commission Shane McMahon. The two are busy trying to ramp up the show ratings though many still want to see the “Yes Man” if his health holds up.
“The Miz”, Daniel Bryan get personal
Recently, Bryan and “The Miz” were at “Talking Smack” that turned a bit heated. Bryan took aim at the Intercontinental Champion’s performances, calling him a coward, the Wrestling Observer reported.
“The Miz” took exception and eventually fumed. Enraged, he went as far as to touch on the fact that Bryan didn’t fight off retirement and perform for the fans in the way he did.
For those unfamiliar with the way WWE runs things, the tussle could be considered something personal. But then again, Bryan still wanted to wrestle but failed to do so because the WWE physicians would not allow it.
Bryan got the green light to compete once more from UCLA doctors and the only thing that held him back was the WWE. Given that scenario, the dish did seem personal in a way unless the WWE was starting to hype a possible Bryan comeback.
Depending on whether all that was an act to jack up the ratings or something for the future, speculations of a possible Daniel Bryan return have now taken the spotlight. Will Bryan be (finally) given the green light to wrestle once more?
The perfect time to make a WWE return
Assuming that is the case, it would not be surprising to see Bryan take aim at “The Miz”. Bryan won the IC title at Wrestlemania 31 but was forced to give it up on due to injury, USA Today reported.
Hence, it should be the perfect stage for a ‘bearded’ return seeing “The Miz” not really rendering the hype an Intercontinental Championship deserves. He does act out the role per the storylines but the competitive nature has been severely overridden. Will it happen? Cast your vote on the polls below.
