In an incremental release of the "No Man's Sky" patch, developer Hello Games said that it will eventually fix 90 percent of the crash issues experienced on the PS4 platform. It comes in three "No Man's Sky" patch parts wherein, the first update fixes 75 percent of the issue, while the second update will upgrade the gaming experience to 87 percent.
According to Time, the third increment on the "No Man's Sky" patch, tagged as version 1.06 will fix at least 90 percent of the crash issues on the PS4 and is also expected to arrive within the week. In a twitter post from Hello Games, it said "We obviously won't stop until these issues are 100% resolved. Also these patches contain other fixes and improvements too. Thanks all."
Space sandbox, the game's day one patch brought significant fixes to the "No Man's Sky" game. Despite the outcry on the massive crash percentage, Space sandbox made some game changing improvement to the "No Man's Sky" gameplay. According to Time's review, the lock up tolerance for console platforms should be absolutely zero, but in the case of "No Man's Sky" they experienced two lock ups in just 12 hours of playing.
While others seem to have complained about the game's crash issues, others were more concerned about "No Man's Sky's" repetitive structure and procedure. If it continues and players can't seem to find a planet with a totally different experience, it might suffer the same fate as Ubisoft's "The Division."
"No Man's Sky" director Sean Murray has apparently stay committed to focusing on the customer support, instead of dwelling on the next planet to explore.
