'Pokemon GO' Latest News, Release Date & Update: Learn How to Use the New Appraisal Feature to Your Advantage

Niantic has a fresh new update for "Pokemon GO" players, and it comes in the form of version 0.35.0 for Android and 1.5.0 for iOS. It includes an interesting new appraisal feature that you can use to your advantage. But what exactly is the appraisal feature?

According to Polygon, "Pokemon GO"'s new appraisal feature is designed for more hardcore gamers who are really ito the strategic aspect of the game. Basically, the new appraisal feature is a tool in which gamers can better select a Pokemon to use during Gym battles to increase their chances of winning.

IGN reports that the new appraisal feature informs the user what Pokemon is best to use for "further leveling" based on a Team leader's notes on the attack and defense of each Pokemon. Players already know that each Pokemon has different characteristics and hidden attributes that must be taken into consideration before using them to battle against another Pokemon, in order to capture a Gym.

Gamepress released a table of ranges for individual value statistics of a Pokemon based on the trainer's leader's notes. Team Instinct (headed by Spark), Team Valor (led by Candela), and Team Mystic (with Blanche), have different notes on each Pokemon. Through this table, gamers can see the best attribute of a "Pokemon GO" capture is attack, HP, or defense.

Meanwhile, Niantic is still hard at work to deliver even more useful and exciting new features for "Pokemon GO." We recently reported on gym errors and how it affects gameplay, and players are hoping that these are addressed by the studio as well.

Recently, "Pokemon GO" gamer achieved over 600,000 XP in a day, and he was slowed by the anti-bot capacity of the app because it believed that he was cheating. Hopefully, Niantic would address these issues for those hardcore gamers as well. Do you experience any issues playing "Pokemon GO?" Comment your answers below and check back for more updates.
