The legendary American singer-actress Barbra Streisand had a word with the CEO of Apple Tim Cook. She personally contacted Tim Cook about her problem with Siri, which is the virtual assistant's inability to utter the name of the singer. During here call with the Apple executive, she also found out that Apple will be updating to the new iOS soon and it is, probably, the upcoming iOS 10.
According to NPR's Scott Simon, the singer-actress told him that Siri pronounces her name wrong. "[It's] Streisand with a soft letter S and I have been pronouncing my last name that way my whole career. After my word with the Apple developer, Tim Cook, we have agreed to make Siri's pronunciation of my last name finally exact." The publicity of the newest iOS, which is said to be the iOS 10, would likely fall behind if we will base on the legendary singer's statements.
If the said incident is true, Streisand passes Ming-Chi Kuo as the number one Apple analyst at present time. At least, we have an idea on when Siri will start pronouncing her name in the correct manner. However, Apple has not yet released other official information of the upcoming iOS 10 until now.
Techno Buffalo reported that Siri will be improved in the new iOS 10. It will be a more enhanced into a more intelligent version of the new iPhones that will make its debut next month. Additionally, the information is still not confirmed if the older Apple devices will be ran by the latest operating system.
Recently, rumor has been circling around about the iPhone 7, stating that it will be coming along with the newest version of iOS -- the iOS 10". And it is bound to be out in the market on the month of September specifically on the 16 or 23. Our guesses will only be guesses not until Apple will be providing its official statements.
