As "Bones" Season 12 will be the TV series' final curtain call, people behind the show promise fans a prolific finale. In fact, three award-winning actors are about to grace the crime procedural drama to showcase their talents and end the final chapter with a bang.
Three Additional Characters
According to TVLine, Ed Asner, Hal Holbrook and June Squibb will be all seen in "Bones" Season 12. The 86-year-old veteran actress is said to play the role of a bad-tempered old lady at a nursing home care. The 86-year-old voice actor will portray Mike Mancuso, a man who can go from good to bad in a matter of a second, while the 91-year-old stage actor will take the role of the Marine veteran Red Fletcher.
It has been said that Red Fletcher will be the older version of Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and the two are about to show a promising partnership in "Bones" Season 12. This, too, might work as a tribute to Booth as he once tried to foresee his older self. However, it is not yet clear if these three additional characters will stay until the series ends or just in a few episodes.
Zack's Story
Meanwhile, BreatheCast reported that "Bones" Season 12 will tell the story of Zack (Eric Millegan) and how was he able to escape the psychiatric hospital he was into. With that, many think that the role of the 41-year-old star is the one responsible for all the killings happening in the show, but it looks like he is not the real criminal.
Moreover, in "Bones" Season 12, Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) will be in a heated argument with her husband Booth because of Zack. "They're going to have very different views -- and it's not necessarily what you are expecting -- of Zack's culpability and how much you can blame him, how one would judge him and how one would forgive him," the show's executive producer Jonathan Collier hinted. "Bones" Season 12 is expected to be aired in 2017 on FOX.
