‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ News & Update: Bandai Namco Reveals New Character and Details about the Game; Open Beta is Coming Soon [VIDEO]

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will run on open beta so that Bandai Namco could test some new modes before its official release. The platform for the beta version was not revealed yet, but it was confirmed that it will feature Conton City and there will be Expert Mission Multi-player modes.

On Aug. 22, Bandai Namco, via a post on its website, also shared other updates for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." Aside from announcing that the Open Beta is on the way, the gaming company also revealed new characters that players will see in the upcoming game sequel.

Majin Vegeta was the first character mentioned to be joining the league of Dragon Ball fighters. Dubbed as the "Prince of Destruction," fans are looking forward to his appearance in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." Many say that he will be one of the most powerful characters in the game as he boasts of super strength and stamina when fighting.

Bandai Namco is also including the modes that were part of the first game installment like the ranked and unranked avatar matches. Gamers will also get to enjoy endless battles and use the zero stat avatars option.

Further, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is featuring Conton City, the new hub of the gameplay. This setting is much bigger compared to the previous locations. Reportedly, its area is seven times the size of the original game's hub.

Finally, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" has been scheduled for release in North America on Oct. 25 and Ocrt. 28 in Europe. It will also be released in Japan on Nov. 2. The game will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. There are lots of fresh features coming so keep an eye out for updates!
