Thomas Gibson made noise when the news broke about his brawl with a writer-producer, named Virgil Williams, on the set of "Criminal Minds" Season 12. With that, the 54-year-old actor is quickly suspended then fired from the show and fans are now wondering how they will see his exit in the return of the police procedural crime drama.
Thomas Gibson's Exit In 'Criminal Minds' Season 12
ABC Studio already announced that the role of Thomas Gibson as Aaron Hotchner will be written out in "Criminal Minds" Season 12. However, the network has yet to reveal how the director's character will be out, according to Entertainment Weekly. The "Dharma & Greg" star has an important role in the TV series since it is first released in 2005, so his supporters are expecting that his character's exit will be justified.
In "Criminal Minds" Season 12, Hotch got arrested for conspiracy charges as Mr. Scratch heavily drugged him to be under his control. Hence, there are swirling rumors that Mr. Scratch will possibly the one who will end Hotch's life.
Thomas Gibson's Secret Divorce
Meanwhile, aside from his exit in "Criminal Minds" Season 12, Thomas Gibson is also dealing with his marital problems with wife Christine Gibson. In fact, it is recently revealed that he secretly filed a divorce from the actress in 2014. No matter how hard the actor tried to hide this move, Extra got the hold of his files about the separation after two years.
"The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities ... that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation," the court paper read. Christine Gibson, on the other hand, filed her response with a "general denial." "Criminal Minds" Season 12 is set to return on Sept. 28 on CBS.
