There's only a couple of months more before Bandai Namco's "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" arrives, so it's only timely that a new trailer be released to get fans even more excited. Interestingly, the new trailer titled "Fight Together" gives gamers a glimpse of how they could customize their characters, along with their transformations. It also includes a first look at how the new multiplayer will pan out.
Nerd Reactor reports that the trailer features a new element of the multiplayer battle system, wherein players are sent into an alternate space to fight evil versions of Dragonball characters, as well as darker versions of themselves. Gamers can also take a closer look at each race, which assists players control the tide of the game when teamed up with four additional players.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" fans would also be glad to know that Majin Vegeta is now a playable character. Some may remember his brief appearance in "Majin Buu Saga." The upcoming game is the sequel to Bandai Namco's 2015 release, the first "Dragonball" game that followed a new story, unlike previous games in the series. In the game, the main protagonist or the player is tasked to help the Time Patrol Trunks to restore, as villains Towa and Mira are out to manipulate history.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2"'s predecessor sold 15 million copies in March last year, and became the second best-selling game for PlayStation 4 for the month of February. By April last year, there were 2.5 million units sold. This year, the number has risen to 13.3. million, as per Gematsu.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" arrives on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 25. Expect a Collector's Edition for PlayStation and Xbox One to include a Time Patroller's Guide art book and a collectible Super Saiyan Goku figure, as per Gamestop. The Collector's Edition will retail for $149.99.
