Borderlands 2 will be made available to Mac on Nov. 20, developer Gearbox Software has confirmed.
The Mac version of the game is being ported by Aspyr Media.
"Aspyr prides itself on bringing the best in gaming to the Mac audience," said Aspyr vice president Ted Staloch. "Borderlands 2 is definitely among the best. Most sequels have a hard time living up to the first, but Borderlands 2 manages to improve on every cool aspect of Borderlands, and still finds a way to wrap the player up in a new story with a new experience."
Borderlands 2 will be available on Steam and Aspyr's GameAgent for $60, which will eventually make its way into the Mac App Store. On the day of its launch, two DLC packs, Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, and the Mecromancer Pack will be available. Multiplayer is cross-platform allowing Mac users and PC users to cross swords. Borderlands 2 also supports Xbox 360 Wired, Cult of Mac reported.
