PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale To Get DLCs, Sony Says

The PlayStation exclusive game, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be getting new characters and levels through the addition of new DLCs.

The game is a cross-platform play like that of the Super Smash Bros. series.

Doubts about All Stars getting new characters were cleared by a Sony representative who told IGN that "Yes, we will be adding additional gameplay content to PlayStation All-Stars through post-launch DLC, including new characters and environments."

PlayStation All-Stars boasts about 20 of Sony's iconic characters that include Nathan Drake, Cole MacGrath, Kratos, and Sweet Tooth. The game does not only feature characters from Sony. Big Daddy from the BioShock series and Heihachi Mishima from Tekken will also be playable characters. Other characters that will be in the game are Cole MacGrath, Colonel Radec, Dante, Fat Princess, Jak and Daxter, Raiden, Nariko, PaRappa the Rapper, Ratchet and Clank, Sackboy, Sir Daniel Fortesque, Sly Cooper, Spike and Toro.

The game will be shipped with 14 different stages from a single franchise. After some time, the stage will be intruded by elements from other franchises.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is set to release Nov. 20, 2012 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
