Thomas Gibson was recently involved in a brawl with a producer while filming on the set of "Criminal Minds" Season 12. The 54-year-old star was first suspended until he was completely kicked out of the show. With that, to air his side, the actor-director created a Twitter account to share his sentiments.

Thomas Gibson talked about the controversial "Criminal Minds" Season 12 on his newly-made Twitter page with a series of tweets. "I wish I could thank each of you for your friendship & support. I love 'Criminal Minds,' & I'm disappointed by what's happened #ThomasGibson," he first stated. However, as he is known for not being social media active, Variety confirmed that the page is solely owned by the father-of-three.

After he addressed his disappointment over the fight that happened in "Criminal Minds" Season 12, he then felt grateful for the love and support he received from his fans and followers. "The support you show means the world to me and my family. This is not an ending, but a beginning as well. Thank you all," he added. He also explained that the mere reason he created a Twitter page is to update and stay connected with his fans

In fact, Thomas Gibson is happily responding to his supporters and even greeted a fan a happy birthday. He now has 12,200 followers, as of this writing, and continuously growing. He, too, actively using the platform by posting images of his family and their dog.

ABC, CBS Studios Formally Announced Thomas Gibson's Dismissal

Meanwhile, an officially announcement that Thomas Gibson is no longer included in "Criminal Minds" Season 12 is already released. ABC Studios and CBS TV Studios proclaimed in a statement that he is formally dismissed in the police procedural crime drama, Mirror Online reported.

The networks also added that the details of how his character as Aaron Hotchner will be gone in "Criminal Minds" Season 12 will be soon disclosed. But, fans will still see the glimpse of Thomas Gibson in the TV series in two episodes. "Criminal Minds" Season 12 is set to air on Sept. 28 on CBS.
