It has been quite a while since the witty and highly-entertaining tandem of Mulder and Scully was last seen on-screen. Of course, those who have their own copies of "The X-Files" series have the luxury of watching it any time they want. Although the filming and production of "The X-Files" have mellowed down, their are talks that there might be an upcoming "The X-Files" Season 11.
The dwindling number of episodes of the previous "The X-Files" seasons did not go unnoticed and was even one of telltale signs that the said show would lie low for a while. That said, the viewers weren't really expecting a follow up to "The X-Files" Season 10. However, recently, speculations are getting stronger that "The X-Files" Season 11 is already being concocted by the producers and writers of the show.
If "The X-Files" Season 11 becomes a reality, fans can expect more episodes than the previous season's offering. Although it would be safe to imagine that the lead characters, played by Gillian Anderson and David Duchonvy, would still top bill "The X-Files" Season 11, fans should not be too complacent as there might be some changes in "The X-Files" revamp.
For all the fans who felt that "The X-Files" Season 10 run was unsatisfactorily short-lived can blame long distance as the culprit. The cast and and crew had to adjust and keep up with the contradicting relationship between the distance of the two lead stars, who lives in New York and California, and "The X-Files" set located in Vancouver.
