The adventures and daily drama of Jess and company continues in "New Girl" season 6. Something to look forward to in "New Girl" Season 6 is the fact that Zooey Deschanel is the director of the first episode.
The first episode of "New Girl" Season 6, which is titled "House Hunt," aptly picks up to three months after the last episode of Season 5 which ended with a very significant life event for two of the main characters. Newlyweds Cece and Schimdt continue their story as a married couple in "New Girl" Season 6. Will they have a baby soon? Cece and Schmidt's possibility of getting pregnant and starting a new family will certainly affect the main characters and might even make Nick think about his own choices in life, specifically his relationship with Jesse and Reagan.
The fans who are rooting and hoping for Jess and Nick romance sadly saw the two parting ways in the bittersweet season finale as the latter made up his mind to travel to New Orleans to be with Reagan. Megan Fox's impending and controversial return to "New Girl" Season 6 are causing the Nick-Jess fandom because it would mean that Nick's character would be all over Reagan again. Jess would probably end up friend-zoned or worse, alone.
However, the possibility of Jess ending up being all sad and alone in "New Girl" Season 6 is highly unlikely to happen. If the storyline of Nick and Reagan ending up together is pursued by the writers, perhaps Jess would find love in another guy. Who knows, it might be the entrance of a new character in "New Girl" Season 6.
The Jess-Nick-Reagan love triangle is not expected to be highlighted in the first few episodes of "New Girl" Season 6 because the network, together with the cast and crew of the show were considerate and supportive enough to give her ample time to enjoy motherhood as she recovers from her third childbearing experience.
