Activision announced that it has delayed Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD's Revert Pack till early December, according to the game's official Facebook page.
"We received word that the DLC has been delayed until the first week of December," Activision wrote. "It will definitely be coming to all 3 platforms then. Again, it's later than all of us hoped, and we're sorry about that."
The high-definition re-release featuring classic levels from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and was released on the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade on July 18 and for the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network on Aug. 28. A PC version was released on Sept. 18 for Microsoft Windows via digital distribution service Steam.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD emphasis arcade-style game play rather than realism and features many skateboarding tricks such as grinds, flip tricks, and aerials. The new downloadable content will adds select levels from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and the game's Revert mechanic. The downloadable content will cost $4.99 and was originally supposed to arrive after Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD's release date, but and was later rescheduled for November.
Activision has not yet announced a new release date for the expansion pack. The game has received missed reviews and holds an aggregated score of 66-out-of-100 on Metacritic for the Xbox 360 version. GameRankings has the Xbox 360 version slightly higher with a score of 68.79 percent.
IGN's Nic Vargas gave the game a score of 8/10, and said, "Gameplay mechanics over a decade old often feel, well, old. But our skepticism proved unwarranted - Tony Hawk's Pro Skater still feels as buttery smooth as it did in 1999."
