The return of "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 on Fox promises to show more intense episodes compared to its previous seasons. However, fans are all waiting if they are about to see the iconic villain, the Headless Horseman, in the new installment as they missed him in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3.
Will The Headless Horseman Appears In 'Sleepy Hollow' Season 4?
TVLine reported that there's a big possibility that the Horseman of Death will be seen in the first few episodes of "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4. As the first part of the American drama series has a tentative title "Heads of State," it is quickly assumed that it is pertaining to the legendary protagonist.
To recall, the Headless Horseman was barely seen in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3 as fans only saw a glimpse of him in the first episode when Pandora (Shannyn Sossamon) caught and hid him in a box. In the final episode, on the other hand, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) called the decapitated rider in an effort to beat Pandora.
The New Witness
Meanwhile, in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4, Ichabod Crane will be introduced to a new stranger who is set to become the second Witness. Ideally, the new meeting comes very timely as the role of Tom Mison will not only be reunited with Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) but also with the known baddies of the preceding "Sleepy Hollow" seasons.
But, Entertainment Weekly reported that the show's executive producer Clifton Campbell confirmed that Abbie Mills' sister, Jenny Mills (Lyndie Greenwood), will not be the new Witness. He asserted that, per the rules, the Witness in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 should be someone close to the FBI agent, who will be played by a new coming star. "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 will now be located in Washington D.C. and will be led by Janina Gavankar and is expected to be aired in the middle of 2017 on Fox.
