It has been more than a month since the "Pokemon Go" has been released and the gamers loved it. Recent reports state that Niantic is developing another batch of game characters for "Pokemon Go" Gen 2. The second set of pokemons is rumored to be launched next year, alongside a trading feature and a new tracking system.
After Niantic released an update for "Pokemon Go" to fix the bugs and patches for the augmented reality game, the company is said to be developing a new update to be release soon. Sources claim that it will bring 12 new pokemons including more evolutions for the first generation pokemons.
What Pokemons Will Be Featured in 'Pokemon Go' Gen 2?
"Pokemon Go" Gen 2 will have new sets of pokemons and new evolution processes. According to reports, the upcoming "Pokemon Go" update will unlock the second generation of Slowpoke, Onix, Chansey, Scyther, Eevee and Porygon.
These said creatures will evolve to even much stronger pokemons. To start off, Eevee will have two additional evolutions in "Pokemon Go" Gen 2, the Umbreon and Espeon that both need 25 candies to be unlocked.
Meanwhile, pokemons such as Slowpoke, Scyther and Porygon will evolve into Slowking, Scizor and Porygon2, respectively. To evolve them, "Pokemon Go" player must have 50 candies. Onix and Chansey, on the other hand, require 100 candies to evolve the pokemons to Steelix and Blissey.
Players can also evolve Zubat, Poliwhirl, Gloom, and Horsea into Crobat, Politoad, Bellosom and Kingdra, respectively. However, "Pokemon Go" players will also need 100 candies to evolve the pokemons to their respective third generation evolutions.
