‘Pokemon GO’ Available Windows? Phone PoGo’s New Updates Revealed! Dos & Donts For The App

The popular and highly successful augmented reality game "Pokemon GO" can now be played on Windows Phone. There is an application that was released last July called "PoGo," which is designed for devices that are using Windows 10 Operating System. The "PoGo" application worked on smartphones as well as PCs.

PoGo-UWP or can also be called "PoGo" is an UWP or Universal Windows Platform client for Niantic's "Pokemon GO" that is only playable for Android and iOS devices. Having PoGo-UWP means that it gives you the ability to play "Pokemon GO" in the same game-world or platform as your friends that are playing with an Android or iOS device.

PoGo-UWP became unstable earlier this month, according to Windows Central it is because of some updates and data changes to "Pokemon GO." But, the developer, Niantic Labs, figured out a way to make the PoGo-UWP application working again.

The changes and improvement of the Niantic Labs to "PoGo" include fixing countless bugs in the game. "Pokemon GO" players can now flick the PokeBall to throw it. This new feature make Pokemons easier to catch.

Also, there are new additional map styles to copy the original "Pokemon GO" game. You can enable this feature in the settings. Pokemon detail page is also added, which is where players can power up, evolve and transfer the Pokemons.

According to WinBeta, there are still some game issues that "Pokemon Go" players are encountering. Sources say that some buttons are not working. "Pokemon GO" might crash if the user opens Pokemon details page and the experience bar on map shows wrong value after levelling up. Also, some players receive rewards after hatching an egg, but there is no visual feedback shown. Lastly, some of the animations are not at par with "Pokemon GO" for Android and iOS.
