Assassin's Creed 3 Release Date Is Here And So Is The Brand New Launch Trailer (Watch Here)

He stood at the edge of the clearing with his tomahawk drawn. A fire burned among the tree and screams of the dying tragically serenaded his ears. Alone, he trudged forward in anguish to meet his nightmare.

Ubisoft released a gripping launch trailer to celebrate the launch of Assassin's Creed III, while other trailers have revealed protagonist Connor's story, none have capture the emotion of the events that made him become an assassin.

It also appears that Connor will have a lot in common with Assassin's Creed II's protagonist Ezio. They both have lost their families to senseless slaughter and seek revenge to right the wrong. Their path to revenge takes them on much longer journeys and to the discovery of something bigger.

In the trailer we get to see some of Connor's would be friends and the budding heroes of the revolution like George Washington. We also get to hear Connor's voice as he narrates the trailer, which is a lot different than Ezio's voice, but still has that melancholy tone.

Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed III releases on Tuesday Oct. 30 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A PC release will follow on Nov. 20, while a Wii U version will be available at the consoles launch on Nov. 18.
