'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: New Trailer Hints Daryl's Death! Is He Really Dead?

Fans of the horror drama TV series, "The Walking Dead" Season 7, are now excited to know who will receive the end of Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) bat Lucille. However, as AMC recently dropped its new teaser, the rumors are strong that it will be Darryl Dixon (Norman Reedus).

New Trailer Hints Daryl Dixon's Demise?

In the new trailer of "The Walking Dead" Season 7, Dwight (Austin Amelio) is seen riding Daryl's motorbike and sporting his iconic leather jacket. Knowing Norman Reedus' character, he won't allow anyone to use his possessions and so, it is quickly assumed that he is the victim of Negan's Lucille, as per Perez Hilton.

To recall, at the recent San Diego Comic-Con, AMC first revealed "The Walking Dead" Season 7 trailer that reminded everyone that anyone from Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) group can fall a victim. This clearly implies that no one from the team is safe and even the fan-favorite actor can be gone in an instant.

Who Between Daryl & Glenn Will Receive Lucille's End?

Moreover, Norman Reedus has been known for being an active user of social media, although the 47-year-old star is not giving any hint that his character in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 is safe from Lucille. In fact, the only thing he assured on TV Line is that the first episode of the post-apocalyptic drama is would be "mind-blowing."

At "The Walking Dead" Season 7 special preview, executive producer Scott M. Gimple revealed that "what happens in Episode 1 will shatter the lives of those who survive." Hence, fans instantly think that it might be connected to the alleged demise of Daryl that will also break their hearts. In the first episode of "The Walking Dead" Season 7, viewers will immediately see the death of a major character.

Though the victim of Negan's Lucille in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 is not yet disclosed, it is believed that it will be between Daryl and Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun). Norman Reedus is now busy filming his own series, "Ride with Norman Reedus," while the 32-year-old Korean-born actor is the original receiver of the bat's end in the comics. Fans still have to wait and see the return of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 on Oct. 23.
