In more than a month, fans are about to see again the hilarious television series "Modern Family" Season 8 with its original and new cast additions. The show's executive producer Steven Levitan revealed that viewers of the show will see more of Mitchelle (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) this time.

Steven Levitan told Movie Fone that fans of "Modern Family" can see more airtime for the much-loved gay couple Mitchelle and Cameron. The pair, too, is set to have a new companion in their home. "Mitch and Cam are taking in one of Cam's [football] players for a while, who has to stay with them for a while. So we're throwing another person into their little world," the 54-year-old director said.
Steven Levitan also disclosed that "Modern Family" Season 8's first episode will be filmed in New York. "We're going to start; the premiere will be in New York, or some of the premieres take place in New York and we'll be shooting some of that in New York," the screenwriter hinted. Aside from that, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he also revealed that "Modern Family" Season 8 is set to have a special Halloween episode.
A Special Halloween Episode
Steven Levitan described the coming Halloween special of "Modern Family" Season will be both hilarious and controversial. Game & Guide recently reported that Jay Pritchett (Ed O'Neill) will be in a center of a hullabaloo because of the costume he is about to wear in that extraordinary episode. And it looks like Jay would not be alone as his family, Gloria Delgado-Pritchett (Sofia Vergara) and Joe Pritchett (Jeremy Maguire), will celebrate the first of November with him.
Hence, it is expected that they would wear a Jesus, Mary and Joseph set of clothes in the coming Halloween special of "Modern Family" Season 8. Aside from this coming season, Steven Levitan also added that viewers will surely love the said particular episode being fully prepared for them. "Modern Family" Season 8 is set to air on Sept. 21 on ABC.
