August is now midway and this means that the two previously mentioned titles will be available for the Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Right now, there are two game titles available. They are “Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate” (Xbox One) and “Spelunky” (Xbox 360). The latter is also available for the Xbox One thanks to the backward compatibility program.
Changing of hands
“Spelunky” will cease on Aug. 15 where “Beyond Good and Evil HD” will take over per Major Nelson. This is the same game that Ubisoft debuted back in 2003 and remastered in 2011. Like “Spelunky”, the soon-to-debut game will be playable on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Xbox One owners get two titles until end of the August
The other title coming is the popular WWE 2K16 game from EA. It will debut alongside “Beyond Good and Evil HD” on Aug. 16, co-existing with “Warriors Orochi 3” for the remainder of August.
WWE 2K16 will be available until Sept. 15, a must have for the avid wrestling fans. The game has gotten pretty good rating as well mainly aided by the hype that the WWE has generated from their actual live shows. Hence, Xbox gamers can look forward to multiple game titles to consider getting, all at no cost for the ones enrolled to the Xbox Live with Gold subscription.
Friendly reminder
This article technically reminds Xbox Live with Gold subscribers of the games that are scheduled to debut for mid-August. Last month, most of this was detailed in a previous post which you can find here. Rather than pay up the regular purchase price for the games (“WWE 2K16” at $39.99 and “Beyond Good and Evil HD at $14.99), this is the best time to get hold of the games since they are free to subscribers.
The countdown starts now with “WWE 2K16” and “Beyond Good and Evil HD” expected to go live in the next 24 hours or so. Conversely, “Spelunky” will be bidding adieu.
