Digital Storm Bolt Gaming PC Packs Big Performance In A Small Package

The new Bolt PC from Digital Storm makes lugging your gaming PC to game tourneys a whole lot easier. The new PC is really thin at just 3.6 inches wide and has a height of just 14 inches tall.

Digital Storm advocates the new PC's size saying, "That's how wide the Bolt is, and still it packs more power and performance than a standard desktop computer. The Bolt can defy convention because its ingenious design doesn't allow harmful heat to interrupt or choke high performance components. It stays cool even under the most extreme gaming sessions. Gamers will never experience a drop in performance either."

The new Bolt's Ultimate version comes stuffed with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2GB that includes PhysX and an Intel Core i7 3770K 3.50 GHz Unlocked CPU. The Ultimate edition goes for $2,166 with an instant discount that brings the computer down to $1,949. The cheaper configuration' comes with a 3.1GHz Core i3-2100 CPU, and GeForce GT 650 graphics and Microsoft's Windows 7 Home Premium Edition for $999. There are two middle tier alternatives that cost $1,249 and $1,599.

Digital Storm also says that the new Bolt will not become obsolete because it is completely upgradable. The computer maker says on its website, "Out of the box the Bolt will conquer any game, but in time you may want to upgrade your arsenal. Nothing is worse than spending good money on a PC that becomes obsolete due to a lack of upgradeability. With the Bolt, keeping your system at the bleeding edge is simple. With a mighty power supply, room for large video cards and additional drives, your investment can stay on the bleeding edge for years to come."

Digital Storm's new Bolt gaming PC has an estimated ship date of Nov. 26.
