Gamescom is known for its annual gaming trade show and this year's Gamescom event will be held in Cologne, Germany.
Gamescom 2016 is said to accommodate all the people especially those developers from the gaming industry to gather in one event. This event will run starting from August 17 until August 21 and the event will allow general public to join from August 18. They are said to have live streaming of the event.
Many big games developer will be present at the Gamescom 2016. The developer Ubisoft and Blizzard already attest that they will come but unfortunately for those Microsof and Sony fans, they will not have any game conference for the event.
Sony And Microsoft To Showcase Their Games At Different Event?
According to International Business Times, although Microsoft and Sony have said they are not going to conduct any press conference at the upcoming event Gamescom 2016, it said that both will showcase their huge list of games to the public on different schedules.
Games that will be announced by Sony will be for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR. Sony is said to be hosting a PlayStation Meeting in New York on September 7 where they will introduce the new PlayStation Neo console.
Microsoft on the other hand, will be hosting a new and more exciting Xbox FanFest experience for those who will be joining Gamescom 2016. Xbox booths will also be available in "Gamescon 2016" from the first day to last day of the event.
What To Expect From Ubisoft And Blizzard
In Ubisoft official site, they had recently announced that those people attending Gamescom 2016 will be able to play their games such as "For Honor," "Steep," and "Eagle Flight" They are also said have an exclusive demo of their games "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands" and "Watch Dogs 2." Ubisoft's booth will also feature activities such as exclusive presentation stage shows and behind-the-scenes of the movie "Assassin's Creed" which feature Michael Fassbender and Jeremy Irons.
Irish Examiner reported that Blizzard will be featuring a special preview video of their games that they will be having on the Gamescom 2016. They considered "Gamescon 2016" as a comeback and their biggest presence to date.
Gamers will have the chance to play games such as "World Of Warcraft," "Diablo," and "StarCraft" to name a few.
