Amber Heard was hysterical during the deposition day according to lawyers of Johnny Depp. Heard reportedly pulled all tactics under her sleeve -- including crying, yelling and screaming -- just to delay litigation.
Hysterical Amber Heard
Johnny Depp's lawyers claim that Amber Heard did everything but testify during her scheduled deposition in her domestic violence case against "Pirates of the Caribbean" star. Heard threw a fit outside the deposition room on Saturday, The Wrap said. Heard was crying, yelling and screaming in defiance, refusing to set foot inside the deposition room.
These were the claims of Johnny Depp's attorney in a motion filed on Tuesday. According to Laura Wasser, Heard made a scene on Saturday and refused to make a deposition. The attorney further explained that Heard continues to delay litigation.
"After showing up nearly two hours late to her Court-ordered deposition, Amber refused to go on the record to testify at all," the court paper reads. "She refused to testify despite repeated requests from Johnny's counsel and instead sat with her lawyers, cried on the telephone, yelled, screamed and paced in a separate room."
Case To Be Dismissed?
Celeb Dirty Laundry added that Amber Heard also refused to present supporting documentation needed for the deposition. Court documents reveal that Johnny Depp's legal team has been attempting to convince Heard to give her deposition. Now, Depp's lawyers are asking for judicial order prohibiting Heard to testify at the trial or to dismiss the case entirely.
The order was made after the news that Amber Heard has proof of Johnny Depp's abuse in the past. Heard claimed that she has a photo that will prove of Depp's abuse. She said that she sought medical treatment due to physical assaults made by Depp.
Amber Heard allegedly claimed that she an Instagram post showing a pill bottle that was prescribed due to the physical abuse. She has also medical records that support she sustained injuries because of domestic violence. Heard has set seven witnesses to testify about the domestic abuse.
Meanwhile, Johnny Depp has prepared 23 names on his witness list. The domestic violence lawsuit was filed after 15 months of marriage. Amber Heard filed a restraining order in May, claiming that she was hit with a cell phone by Johnny Depp.
