Many are anticipating that "Supernatural" is more likely to end after its latest installment, Season 12. This, by far, is the longest running fantasy horror TV series and its possible ending is not yet cleared.
'Supernatural' Season 12 Not To End Yet
The programming head Mark Pedowitz explained at TCA Summer Press Tour that as long as Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are enjoying doing "Supernatural" and they are still earning a success rate, they have no reason to stop the television series. The President of The CW Television Network also believes in the ability of "Supernatural" Season 12's new showrunners Andrew Dabb and Robert Singer to improve and enhance the show more.
New Showrunners To Improve & Enhance 'Supernatural' Season 12
Mark Pedowitz even asserted that Andrew Dabb and Robert Singer are no newbies in making scenic TV series as; in fact, they have been part of "Supernatural" for so long. The only change "Supernatural" has in Season 12 is it is now down to have just 22 episodes compared to its previous seasons, which has 23 episodes, as per CarterMatt.
This move is actually applied to the entire CW shows and not only to "Supernatural" Season 12. This is to give consideration to the CW stars for working hard and to give them some rest. This might also help Jensen Ackles and his wife Danneel Ackles, who are now expectant parents, to spend more time with their incoming twin.
Meanwhile, as Mary Winchester is set to be back in "Supernatural," it seems like Season 12 will be all about the family, Nerdist reported. Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb revealed the importance of family and the reconnection of Mary to Dean and Sam. They, too, teased the return of Castiel back to his feet. "Supernatural" Season 12 is set to be back on Oct. 13 on E.T.
