"WWE 2K17" roster additions were recently unveiled by 2K Sports. With the recent announcement, the developer is gearing up hype on the upcoming game as its scheduled "WWE 2K17" release date nears.
Developer 2K Sports previously promised that it would be releasing weekly updates on the list of wresting superstar who will be joining the "WWE 2K17" roster as playable characters. The developer timed it in a way that, before the "WWE 2K17" release date comes this October, it would have revealed by then the entire list of wrestling stars that players may choose from as their avatar in the latest iteration of the popular wrestling gaming franchise.
This week, 2K Games release another set of wresting stars set to join the ever-growing "WWE 2K17" roster as playable characters. This week's haul proved to be generous. At 22 new additional wrestling stars, the new list contains 3 characters more than last week's 18 wresting superstars.
The list, as released by IGN include Alicia Fox, Andre The Giant, Baron Corbin, Big E, Billy Gunn, Braun Strowman, Bret Hart, British Bulldog, Cesaro, Charlotte, Daniel Bryan, Edge, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Kalisto, Rando Orton, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Sin Cara, The Rock, Triple H and Tyson Kidd. The 22 new names now add more player options in terms playable characters in the "WWE 2K17" roster.
Of course, this week's addition to the "WWE 2K17" roster won't be the last that 2K Sports would be making. A new round of wrestling stars is expected to will be revealed by the developer next week in line with is scheduled weekly reveal.
The "WWE 2K17" release date is slated this coming Oct. 11, 2016. The upcoming game will be available for PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Stay tuned to Game & Guide for next week's update on the "WWE 2K17" roster.
