Hackers have successfully managed to break into the security of Denuvo, a software that acts as block against those hackers who wants the games to be available for free. For more than a year, it has been able to block hackers who tried cracking into their system.
Denuvo has been providing securities for many games and that include the "Rise of the Tomb Raider". Games have been safe in their security until today as Denuvo has recently discovered a bypass. A 19 year old Bulgarian hacker called Voksi has managed to break into Denuvos security and the game "Rise of the Tomb Raider" was their first victim.
In an article by Torrent Freak, a Royalgamer06 told them that the said hacker Voski has been cracking games for years. He added that they are both releasing 'Steamworks fixed', which can allow pirates to play cracked games online via Steam.
'Rise.Of.The.Tomb.Raider.READNFO-CONSPIR4CY' references is said to be released by a 'Scene' group known as CONSPIR4CY, also known as CPY. The said file contains the fully cracked version which and secret informations of the "Rise of the Tomb Raider".
As for now, only the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" has been the first victim which was released in January this year. No one knows when CONSPIR4CY had started working on Denuvo. An article by Ars Technica did not give the direct link of the cracked full version "Rise of the Tomb Raider" full version, instead they provided the Reddit discussion of the crack and it readme file.
There's no more info on how CPY's crack works at this moment, and other Denuvo games is said to have not yet cracked for now. So it will be unclear as to how the Denuvo will fix this new problem.
