Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Update: Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Arrives to the Feature

‘Xbox One Backwards Compatibility’ Update: 1 New Title Arrives on the Microsoft Feature

After Xbox head Phil Spencer recently made a funny revelation on the Blue Dragon coming to the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature, it looks like Microsoft is delivering some concrete update on the backwards compatible games by announcing the arrival of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

In an announcement made by Larry Hryb aka Major Nelson on twitter today, he confirmed "Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon is coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility today." Quite the long journey, Blood Dragon came out in 2013 on the Xbox 360 console and has now made it to the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature.

According to Gamespot, players who wish to have a copy of the game can expect to save at least 2.18GB in space in order to accommodate the game. And like any of the other Xbox One backwards compatibility feature, if you previously owned a copy of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon on your Xbox 360, the should automatically appear on the Xbox One Store.

However, if you haven't owned a copy, you can purchase the game for $15 and manually download it on the Xbox One. Meanwhile, Microsoft has not given a specific date on when to expect the Blue Dragon to arrive on the XBox One backwards compatibility feature, but just like what Spencer, it will come.

Meanwhile, if you have not been updated with the latest titles on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature, here are some of the titles that arrived lately: "Red Dead Redemption," "Left 4 Dead," "Bloodforge," Aqua Babel Rising," "Fallout New Vegas" and many more.

Currently, the feature has over 200 titles in its library and the list continues to grow as Microsoft develops Xbox 360 games for the XBox One console. Are you excited to see the next title for the Xbox One backwards compatibility list? Make sure to check on GamenGuide.com for the latest update.
