Get the Latest 'WhatsApp Update' for iOS and Android

Despite the popular messaging application WhatsApp giving a timely update, it looks like some of the most anticipated features are being left behind. But recently WhatsApp Update for iOS 2.16.8 released the Voicemail feature that readily hyped up the use of the messaging app.

In the new Voicemail feature, users can leave a voice message to the recipient in the event that their calls aren't answered. The WhatsApp Update that lets you leave a Voicemail message can be done when calls are not answered or is rejected by the receiving party.

To activate the Voicemail messaging, users need to press on the Voice message button and start recording. When you have finished recording your message, you can lift your finger and the Voice message will automatically send and will be listed among the the conversations made on the WhatsApp application. Unfortunately, you cannot review the recording and the only way to cancel it is to swipe your finger to the left while pressing for a recording. Take note that once you're done recording and you lift your finger, the Voicemail message will automatically send.

According to the UK EXPRESS, this latest innovation on the WhatsApp Update has allowed users to hear the voice of their loved ones here and abroad even if they weren't able to answer the calls. Meanwhile, the video call feature of the WhatsApp application is still unavailable despite some leaked mocked up of what the screen looks like when making a video call. Android users will have to wait a bit more for this latest WhatsApp update as currently, the Voicemail messaging is still in its beta form.
