'Pokemon Go' Latest News & Update: Twitch Going After Cheaters?

Violators of the guidelines of "Pokemon Go" might compromise their account. With the amazing success of the game, third-party software, spoofs and cheats are available online to help players catch rare creatures without leaving the comforts of their home.

The good thing about playing "Pokemon Go' is it actually encourages players to go out and explore their neighborhood. However, some players want the easy way, and have found ways on how to change their phone's location even when they are just stationary.

However, "Pokemon Go" bot programmers have a different perspective. Noor Farhani of NecroBot believes that his program actually helped players "reach something" because "people want to be included," according to Polygon.

Sticklers of 'Pokemon Go" are crying foul with the use of bots by some cheaters. "Gyms" have become unimaginable to conquer. Competition in the legitimate battle field is exciting but the use of cheats hurt some fanatics.

In the natural way, it takes time and dedication to go up the next level in 'Pokemon Go." Not all communities have close "PokeStop" nearby which could add more effort and time to level up.

Twitch has emphasized that they are serious in tracking cheaters in their "Pokemon Go" trainer guidelines. Cheaters' accounts could actually be terminated after recurrent violation. Offenders will be given a warning for the first offense according to Comicbook, and a 24-hour suspension of the account for the second transgression.

"Pokemon Go" was released in the market last July, and cheats have also been available on the same month. Cheaters were openly sharing their videos, and some even give live tutorials while earning some dollars on the side!

Law-abiding "Pokemon Go" players complained that Twitch was slow in banning the use of third-party apps for GPS spoofing and automated bot programs. So, whenever you are tempted to run some "Pokemon Go" cheats, think again. Your dream of catching every creature might just be over if Twitch catches you first.
