The Nintendo NX console is about to host the "Dragon Quest X" according to producer Yosuke Saito. Take note that the game has been previously confirmed for the PS4 console and now, it's all about its development for the Nintendo NX. In a previous announcement by Square Enix about a year ago, "Dragon Quest X" and "Dragon Quest XI" were among the games planned to be ported on the NX and now, it look like the former is up for development.
Currently, there's no specific date on when "Dragon Quest X" will be available on the Nintendo NX console, but Saito promised that the game's version on the PS4 console will arrive just before the "Dragon Quest XI." For the Dragon Quest fans waiting for an update on the game, it's not only a thing of consideration now, but they're actually porting the game to the Nintendo NX console.
Saito on the other hand is confident that, upon launching on "Dragon Quest X" on the PS4 and Nintendo NX console comes the influx of new players wanting to try the game. He also revealed that, while they expect this sort of influx, they remain dedicated in providing the best gaming experience to current players of the game.
According to IGN, in Japan, the 3.3 version of "Dragon Quest X" has been existent for gamers to play on, but Saito revealed, Version 4 is already on its way; only, he can't give more details about it.
Before the revelation of the game coming to the NX, Square Enix indeed made the mistake of announcing it ahead of time, but later retracted the report saying, it is being considered.
