I've been playing "Pokemon GO" and there is a couple of things that I find not so amusing about the popular augmented reality game. One of those things is how huge "Pokemon GO's" appetite is in consuming my phone's battery life.
Within 30 minutes of straight gaming with "Pokemon GO" it has consumed almost 25 percent off of my phone's juice. So what to do?
Here are some of the most simple yet effective tips on how you can make the most out of your battery life in playing "Pokemon GO" while still maximizing your potential on being the very best.
One of the most obvious solutions but if often forgotten is tweaking the brightness of the screen. This is an integral part of battery consumption, especially nowadays that the average screen size of smartphones are 5 inches and above.
Closing apps that are running in the background. Not only will this simple tip smoothens the gameplay of "Pokemon GO" but also lessens battery consumption as the phone doesn't need to work double time in order to keep unused app activity.
Turning off "Sounds" in "Pokemon GO's" in game settings. This might not have a big impact on saving battery but this tip will still help maximize your juice.
Don't forget to turn off bluetooth and also wifi when you're mobile data is on and you are out on the streets looking for nearby Pokemons in "Pokemon GO." A phone that is constantly trying to locate bluetooth and wifi will surely go from 100 to zero real quick.
