'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Season 12 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Kourtney Kardashian Finally Quits Reality Show?

For the last nine years, the Kardashian-Jenner family have entertained viewers worldwide with 12 successful seasons of their E! series that catapulted them into reality TV stars in their own right. Viewers across America and the whole world watched as Kim Kardashian, who was formerly known as merely a socialite whose sex tape had been leaked, grow into an entrepreneur and social media influencer with millions of followers online. Note that "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" began in 2007, a time when social media wasn't really a thing yet.

Flashforward to 2016, Kim now has a family of her own together with rapper Kanye West, who is feuding with popstar Taylor Swift, and Khloe Kardashian is furthering her career as a host. The two younger sisters, who were tweens when "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" first aired, are now young women who are in charge of their own game. Kendall is a model and face of many prestigious brands, while Kylie is a makeup entrepreneur who brands her name across various makeup essentials.

"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" has become a powerhouse, launching all of the members of the family into superstardom, but the eldest sister, Kourtney, now 37 years of age and mother to three kids, seems like she'd be alright with doing away with the E! show that made her a reality TV star.

"I don’t want the show to end, but I sometimes think I would be so happy if it did," Kourtney told You Magazine, as per Daily Mail. "I could just move away from it all."

Of course, Kourtney backtracked by saying that each season ender would have her feeling like she has had enough of the cameras, but the break enables her to recharge and crave for more. It may not come as a surprise that the eldest Kardashian is looking to live quietly, just as she had done since "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" debuted nine years ago. Take away the cameras and one may find a regular entrepreneur trying to keep her life and marriage together just like anyone else. But with the ratings and the money that just keeps pouring in, it doesn't look like the Kardashians are going away any time soon.
