'Sons Of Anarchy' Prequel Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Spin-Off Will Still Be Related To The Original Crime Drama

Fans are still patiently waiting for the continuation of "Sons of Anarchy," even though it has already ended in 2014. It has been said that the show's creator Kurt Sutter is doing his best to work out for a prequel and supporters of the show are still hoping it will include Charlie Hunnam.

The Alleged Plot Of 'Sons Of Anarchy' Prequel

It was first reported in May that a "Sons of Anarchy" prequel is about to happen with a tentative title, "Mayans MC." It will be co-created and produced by Kate Sutter and Elgin James, who will also be the show's first episode scriptwriter. The spin-off will still be related to the original "Sons of Anarchy" as it is set to reveal the antagonist motorcycle club of Mayans.

"Sons of Anarchy" prequel will still be a dark family drama, but it will be graced by Latin American cast mostly. "I wanted to find a strong, unique Latino voice. Because I didn't think a white guy from Jersey should be writing about Latin culture and traditions. Elgin is that voice," Kate Sutter told Deadline.

Charlie Hunnam Wants A Part In 'Sons Of Anarchy' Prequel

With the new plot of "Sons of Anarchy" prequel, Charlie Hunnam already hinted that he wants a part in the upcoming series. "I'm unemployed right now so if they want to give me a job that's all good with me," the 36-year-old star told E! Online. However, if he ever decides to star "Sons of Anarchy" prequel, fans are about to see a lesser hot-headed Jax Teller.

The viewers of "Sons of Anarchy" prequel might also see a not-so-hunky Charlie Hunnam as he admitted that he is tired of working hard to maintain his perfect physique. Game & Guide recently reported that he now comes to a point that he only wants to relax and eat everything he wants, like burger and fries.

"Sons of Anarchy" prequel has no definite release date yet, but currently in development at Fox 21 Television and expected to be revealed in 2017. Stay tuned to Game & Guide for more updates.
