Some shows just shoot an arrow straight to the heart as audiences find themselves relating to the problems and heartaches of the characters, which holds true for "The Good Wife" TV series. More often than not, TV shows are considered to be a viewers' closest companion aside from their friends or family of course.
From the title itself, "The Good Wife" showcases the daily struggles of a wife who is trying her best to keep herself together amidst the problems being thrown at her and her marriage. The finale for "The Good Wife's" last season was very disheartening and made a lot of its followers sad for the main characters.
Amusingly, the main characters of "The Good Wife" were also not happy with how it ended. According to Entertainment Weekly, Jeffrey Dean Morgan was unhappy and frustrated with the dramatic and truly heartbreaking goodbyes of the main characters of "The Good Wife." True enough, the main character's moments of saying goodbye to each other served as a cliffhanger for their audiences because there was a lot of issues floating in the air. Two people who truly loved each other deserved more than a senseless separation that Jason and Alicia had.
The 50 year old "Grey's Anatomy" alumni also divulged that he was called back to New York 2 weeks after the final filming of "The Good Wife." The actor wasn't able to do so because of his very tight schedule in filming for his other series, "The Walking Dead." However, not much was missed because according to Morgan, he doesn't expect for a drastic change in Jason and Alicia's situation.
The highly acclaimed series, with five Emmy nominations under its belt, will reportedly have a spinoff by 2017 on CBS as announced in May. As of now, the people behind "The Good Wife" has neither confirmed nor denied the spinoff news.
