It has been 6 years since the debut of "Red Dead Redemption." Several rumors in the past couple of month has got every fan of the western themed action-adventure video game on their heels.
From its much anticipated debut in Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 which has never pushed through to the said map for "Red Dead Redemption's" sequel. So what's the new development to the much loved game.
Take-Two financial report
Take-Two's financial report has just been released and a lot of people are keen to observe hints on the report. Here is the excerpt, "Rockstar Games also is hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon."
As reported by Push Square, the announcement for "Red Dead Redemption 2" is now forthcoming and looming around the corner. In Rockstar's end as well, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is known to be their only title to be in the works as of the moment.
Successful Xbox One Compatibility program
Also tackled o mentioned in Take-Two's financial report is the availability of "Red Dead Redemption" for Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners. "Made Red Dead Redemption available as part of Microsoft's Xbox One Backward Compatibility program, enabling owners of the Xbox 360 versions of Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare, and Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition to play the game on Xbox One. In addition, Red Dead Redemption is now available for purchase through digital download from the Games Store on Xbox One."
"Red Dead Redemption" was previously ranked at 1093 but after the announcement of its Xbox compatibility release, it jumped up to the 17th spot which is a big leap, garnering up to 6329% in sales increase. With the massive success of "Red Dead Redemption" in its Xbox compatibility program, it's only logical to push through with "Red Dead Redemption 2" as soon as possible.
